OUR STORY

Established in 1921, the San Antonio Transportation Association is the second oldest transportation Association in the U.S. behind the New York City club. SATA is a non-profit organization with an all volunteer Board of Directors and diverse group of members representing all four modes of transportation (Air, Rail, Truck and Sea). SATA has continued to thrive community it works in. Since it's inception, this group of loyal members has dedicated itself to improving member services including an ongoing self education program through its invited guest speakers, a scholarship program donating tens of thousands of dollars to further the college education of its members and children. SATA members helped establish the Transportation and Logistic degree program at Palo Alto College for the ACCD (Alamo Community College).
